TikTok has become the latest social media craze over the past few years. Where we used to spend hours scrolling through Instagram and Facebook, people are now spending all their time on this viral video making and watching app. The amount of people getting involved in the video making craze is unparalleled. So, here we are with the best ten TikTok video editing apps to help dazzle your following and gain you more followers. Although TikTok has its own inbuilt recording and editing technology, many TikTok users choose to get more technical with their editing to garner a larger following. Let’s get started:

1: ViaMaker

This editing app, ViaMaker, has become probably the most popular editing app im the more experienced content creators. This is mostly because the app itself is designed by the same company that created TikTok in the beginning, Bytedance. The app is completely free without any restrictions on it, which makes it cost effective too.

2: BeeCut

BeeCut is another one of our cost effective options, it is free and all-inclusive in its editing options. You can crop, filter, fade, cut; and everything else you want to do to your videos before you upload them.

3: Zoomerang

Zoomerang is probably what we would call a ‘gateway’ editing app for beginner content creators and editors. It has a limited plan available which is free, but there are purchases that can be made on the app which can cost up to $40 depending on what services you want to use. There are tutorials available in the app and more features than the above two services, and it is becoming a popular choice.

4: Quik

Quik is another fantastic (pretty much) free option for video editing. It has over twenty different video styles to choose from, and lots of editing options available. It is easy to use for the novice TikTok video editor. Although the app is free, there are purchases costing $2.99 each.

5: InShot

InShot has one feature which stands out against its competitors. It is actually a free HD video editing service. The quality of the videos that you get from InShot stands out very obviously. You can import your own music to use on the videos as well rather than being stuck to stock music. There is a free version, but there are purchases that cost up to $30 if you want the extra services.

6: Funimate

Funimate is a fantastic video editor which gives the user access to a wealth of effects, transitions, and other perks. It is extremely easy for the novice TikTok editor to use, simply because the sharing process from app to TikTok is so simple. The free version is available with the only caveat being a watermark; otherwise, you can make purchases on the app from $3 to $60.

7: Lomotif

Lomotif is the best app to use if you want to be musical with your TikTok creations. The music library on Lomotif is huge! Music choices are probably the biggest perk of this app, but its editing capabilities are also great. The app is free, but it does cost $4.99 to remove the Lomotif watermark.

8: Magisto

Magisto is a fantastic video creating and editing app which is powered by digital giant Vimeo. Recording is done by you, and then the AI installed in the app creates a movie for you. It is so simple! The app is free, but there is a paid version available.

9: Vizmato

Vizmato is a good quality video editing app which allows you to create great TikTok content. You can add anything you want, and there are a lot of customisable video options on the app. The app itself is free, but the Pro version is around $12. There are also other in app purchases.

10: Timbre

Timbre is probably the easiest of all of these apps to use for beginners, or anyone who struggles a little bit more with technology. It is designed to make all of the more difficult parts of content creating and editing a little bit easier. The app itself is free, but there purchases available in the app for up to $20.
