A security researcher discovered the Terrorist Screening Centre has reportedly leaked its confidentiality unaware — it involves classified information about terrorism and its actors, including terrorists that made the FBI’s “no-fly” list.

The agency failed to duly secure their database, while the Department of Homeland Security resolved the leak the agency responsible for managing the US terrorist watch list that is exposed for three weeks via indexing its files with the search engine, Techbooky writes.

Per Volodymyr Diachenko’s discovery, the agency’s watch list has been indexed with several search engines which exposed millions of recorded acts of terror especially the FBI’s “no-fly” list — with simple keywords the watchlist perpetrators will be revealed

Since July 19, neither did the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Centre nor the Department of Homeland Security noticed this terrorist watchlist was exposed in a readable format — even without encryption.

While the Terrorist Screening Centre lost guard of its confidential data without primary authentication, the DHS had to intervene to encrypt already exposed data that also include information about the US and its strategic scheme of combating terrorism.

These documentaries include information categorized by the enlisted terrorist citizenship status, full names, DOB, no-fly indicators, passport information — and other classified information related to the American national security.

Remember, the Terrorist Screening Centre is a stretched-out division of the FBI — these multi-agency systems is responsible for assembling information about the potential terrorist that interest the Transportation Security Authority and the Department of Homeland Security.

For context, with the FBI’s watchlist, the TSA and DHS are equipped with information about identified or suspected terrorists attempting to gain Visa, or potential terrorists attempting to onboard aircraft to another country.

The compromised terrorist watchlist gives its perpetrators an edge to beat the system as well as America’s security system. Meanwhile, the exposed terrorist watchlist focused on individuals that made the No-fly list. Now, these terrorists are expected to seek an alternative route to gain access to America, Techbooky writes

The no-fly category of the FBI’s terrorist watch list works differently if the perpetrator(s) is an American citizen that demands a notification about their current citizenship status. However, the FBI’s no-fly list has reportedly discovered thousands of false identities gaining entry to America.
