4th Edition Of African Tech Summit Set To Hold In February 2022

African Tech Summit, a leading African series where African Tech Connects, is set to host the 4th Edition of African Tech Summit in Nairobi, Kenya in February 2022.

The Summit which is set to hold on February 23rd and 24th 2022 will consist of 3 summits in 1 – One on Money and Decentralized Finance (DeFi), another on African Startup Summit, and last on African Mobile Summit.

The Summit on Money and Decentralized Finance (DeFi) is targeted at connecting African FinTech leaders, and showcasing the opportunities to be explored in the DeFi aspect of African Tech. A combination of Panels, Breakout Sessions and Keynote Speakers, will dissect the latitudes of the worlds of Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, Cyber Security, Remittance, Bank and Payments, Digital Credits and Mobile Money. InsurTech Innovators, Mobile Money, Payment and Bank Services providers, Professionals in the field of FinTech, Financial Inclusion and Cyber Security will benefit from this part of the Summit.

The African Startup Summit is an aspect of the African Tech Summit that supports collaboration to encourage innovation. It is aimed at showcasing the opportunities embedded in Africa’s entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. While not neglecting the challenges of the Startup industry, it is expected that stakeholders and key advisors in the eCommerce industry, Regulation and Policy Industry, Education, Health Tech, FinTech, and advocates of the Sustainable Development Goals, will collaborate to analyse the Startup Industry, and birth networks that will contribute to the growth of Startups.

The last part of the African Summit will border on African Mobile. Tech Giants, Mobile industry operators, stakeholders in the Tech industry, will come together to offer brainstorming sessions on the multi-dimensional opportunities offered by new digital tech solutions. Key areas to be featured in this section of the Summit include Social media, Connectivity, Apps, Mobile Content, Mobile Marketing, Cloud and IOT, AI, AdTech.

With an expected attendance of over 350 companies, 500 Delegates and 150 speakers from different fields of African Tech, the Summit is expected to provide innovations, tackle challenges and of course promote networking among African Tech Enthusiasts in their various fields.

Some Keynote Speakers at the Summit include: Simeon Onunonbi from ThankUCash, Seun Alley from Tech Advance Nigeria, Camella Cadet from EmTech, Elo Umeh from Terragon Group, Apollo Sande from Luno, Kojo Boakye from Facebook, Dr. Gamau Gachigi from Gearbox, and many other Tech enthusiasts from different fields.

Worthy of note is the fact that before the 4th edition of the African Tech Summit by February 2022, a session will be held in London on December 8th, 2021.
