Customers of Airtel are complaining about difficulties using the network services offered by the telecom company. Its more than an hour already, customer complaints on a well-known downtime tracking website which started to appear, with the majority of users claiming to be having problems with mobile and cellular connections. In the meantime, some users are complaining about “no signal” or trouble accessing the internet on their mobile devices. Additionally, users have complained about their inability to send messages or make calls on Airtel’s network on X, the microblogging site that was once known as Twitter.
More update on this shows that on downdetector, more than 3,200 users in the city Delhi NCR area reported having trouble connecting to Airtel’s network as of 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Among them, 66% of users reported network issues with their mobile phones, 18% complained about mobile internet access, and 16% reported no signal on their phones.
Several consumers are unable to make or receive calls due to the persistent network problem, according to posts made by users on X. Some customers claim that they are unable to receive SMS messages, which keeps them from getting the one-time passwords (OTPs) that are necessary to access apps or other online services which they are unable to perform at their convenient.

Downdetector says that the problem reports that were submitted in the last 24 hours are displayed in this chart along with the average number of reports by time of day. Throughout the day, several issues are frequently reported. Only when the volume of problem complaints is much greater than what is normal for that time of day does Downdetector report an event.
As ast this present hour, according to downdetector claims to have this recorded as the reported problems on the device customers are using.
It’s important to keep in mind that the outage is probably affecting a far number in percentage of people than what is reported on websites the likes of Downdetector and X, and that users in other areas may also be impacted by the network problems. According to several users, the outage started roughly about two hours ago.
Airtel, the telecom provider has acknowledged the fact that it is “currently experiencing a network outage” and has already started replying to users’ remarks on X. Airtel claims to be working to fix a persistent problem. It hasn’t yet provided a projected timeline for the service’s restoration, though.
Social media users from big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore expressed their concerns, demonstrating that the disruption was not limited to a single place. However it is not known yet if this is issue is a global one affecting users in Africans but the Airtel team says that it is working to fixing this incident to reclaim confidence in their customers.
