Reports have it that Apple CEO Tim Cook may be giving his entire fortune worth about $785m/15.6b Naira before he dies. He made this known to Fortune magazine but added that he would fund his 10-year old nephew’s education. This puts him in the class of the Gates, Zuckerbergs and Buffets who have all pledged to give away at least half of their net worth but of course these last names are all billionaires. Tim Cook’s net worth is about $120m , and he holds restricted stock in Apple worth $665m .

Climate change and HIV causes are closest to his heart. This is just a case of another Tech leader who is dedicated to humanitarian causes. This is most visible among top American leaders with Europe and Asia lagging in charity causes.
