Apple Music lovers get in here. Apple introduces a new Voice plan for Apple Music. Recall Apple previously released its iPhone 13 series at the September 14 event. Apple announces that with the new voice-only plan, music lovers can use only their voice and its Siri voice assistant to access the content of Apple Music across Apple devices. Apple says the Voice Plan that lets you access music through Siri will be available later this fall in 17 countries at $4.99 per month. We believe that the music plan would spread into other regions within the shortest possible time.

Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats says “Apple Music and Siri are natural partners and already work seamlessly together. A seven-day trial has been made available for non-subscribers to sign up for a free for users to check out Voice service before they commit. Apple assures this seven-day trial is completely free and comes with no auto-renewal for those who fear been charged afterward.

Apple says users can subscribe to the new Voice plan with Siri by saying, “Hey Siri, start my Apple Music Voice trial,” or using the alternative method of signing up through the Apple Music app. Once a user is subscribed, users can start requesting to play music across all their Siri-enabled devices. The devices can include the HomePod mini, AirPods, iPhone, and when using CarPlay. Apple says the new Voice plan subscribers will gain access to hundreds of new stations and playlists and full playback controls, including unlimited song skipping.

The new voice plan has shown close similarities to Amazon Music’s Echo plan. A service that permits users to request music through Alexa’s voice assistant across Echo or Fire TV devices at $3.99/month

Apple announces that there would be a dedicated section called “Just Ask Siri”, a section that would provide tips on how Siri can be optimized for Apple Music. Also, subscribers of the new Voice plan will get customized in-app experiences with music suggestions based on personal preferences and most recently played music.
