Apple’s iOS 10.3 Beta Release Incorporates Changes to App Review Prompts

Apple has unleashed its iOS 10.3 in beta form, sparking excitement and curiosity about the notable features that this new update is expected to encompass. A significant alteration coming with the update revolves around those familiar app review prompts, such as “Do you enjoy using [app name]? Why not leave a review”. These review requests, which have become more frequent and somewhat interruptive of late, are set to encounter a limit. With the rollout of iOS 10.3, developers won’t be poking you more than thrice a year to rate their applications.

However, Apple isn’t forgetting the interests of the app developers either. To ensure that developers still collect valuable user feedback, a thoughtful addition will soon allow users to rate an app without detouring to the App Store. This will reprieve users from the tedious process of clicking on the review notification which transports them to the App Store to document their views.

Moreover, extending support to developers, the new iOS update will equip them with the ability to respond directly to their app reviews. This attribute offers developers an opportunity for more misdirected communication with their user base, enhancing their understanding of user experience and improving their products accordingly.

And for those misplacing their AirPods, iOS 10.3 also brings advancements to the ‘Find My iPhone’ feature, facilitating the search for the elusive earpieces.
