Apple Reportedly Launching iMac With M3 Chip As Early As Second Half of 2023 | Tech360.tv

Bloomberg has reported that Apple is reportedly getting set to launch a new iMac by the second half of this year, Even though the new iMac is rumoured to have a 24-inch display, it’s anticipated to have a more potent M3 CPU created using a 3nm process.

Bloomberg report points out that the new iMac won’t likely go into full production for at least three months, but it may still begin retailing in the second half of this year in the same colour schemes as its forerunner, including blue, silver, pink, and orange. The report claims that Apple is “doing production tests of the computer” and that the new iMac is at “an advanced level of development.” This is consistent with earlier rumours which suggest that the iMac would debut in 2023.

Additional information suggests that some iMac internal parts may be “relocated and modified” and that the manufacturing procedure for attaching the iMac’s stand to the display is “changed.” It’s past time for an upgrade to the iMac. As Apple is yet to update its lineup in two years, the 2021 model will be the first to feature in-house silicon from the business, as well as a larger display and a variety of new colours.

In addition to a new iMac, Bloomberg’s report states that Apple will soon release a new 15-inch MacBook Air, an updated 13-inch MacBook Air, and a Mac Pro with an M2 Ultra CPU. According to speculations, considering that Apple recently produced an M2-equipped 13-inch MacBook Air, it could make sense for the company to integrate an M3 processor as well while saving the M2 chip for the larger 15-inch model.

Apple reportedly plans to release an iMac with an M3 chip this year - Tech

For Apple, this year is looking to be an extremely busy one. At its Worldwide Developers Conference in June, the company is likely to introduce its new M3 CPU and possibly even unveil its heavily hyped mixed-reality headset.

Besides all of the recent barrage of AI news, Apple’s latest hardware releases are a welcome break. Apple hasn’t backed artificial intelligence quite as heavily as Microsoft. While Microsoft is investing billions of dollars in OpenAI and Google developing an AI-powered alternative to standard internet search. Using a text-to-speech audiobook narrator is the company’s most recent excursion into technology.
