Not up to twenty-four hours ago, Bitcoin reached the $50,000 milestone and now one Bitcoin is worth a whopping $51,200. This is a new all-time high and experts say that the value of Bitcoin will continue to rise and predict that in a very short time, with the rate at which it is growing, it will get to $70,000 sooner than we all can imagine, definitely before the middle of the year. Bitcoin is the world’s most popular cryptocurrency and was invented in 2008 by an unknown entity that uses the name Satoshi Nakamoto. It is a decentralized kind of currency and does not need the interference of a single administrator or a central bank. Bitcoin can easily be sent from one person to another without any form of middleman or intermediary.

Bitcoin has grown steadily and has garnered the love and acceptance of investors since it came years ago. 2021 seems to be the year for Bitcoin investments because just recently, electric car company Tesla owned by the world’s richest man; Elon Musk, invested the sum of $1.5 billion in Bitcoin and promised that in the nearest future it would accept Bitcoin as a means of Payment. Mastercard also recently revealed that it would allow cryptocurrency transactions on its platform a few days after Tesla announced that it had invested in the world’s most famous cryptocurrency. America’s oldest bank; BNY Mellon also revealed that it would start transacting cryptocurrency for its clients. Mobile payments like Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay have associated themselves with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. More companies will begin to associate themselves with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency; quite a lot of other companies have suggested their imminent association with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin will continue to dominate the cryptocurrency industry and continue prove to be one of the best ways to invest in this time. Bitcoin is easy to use, easy to save and invest with, free from the hazards of middle men or a centralized system and totally takes away costs that arise from transactions. Experts say Bitcoin will continue to beat every expectation set out for it, so there will never be too late of a time to invest in it.
