CEO OF Chaka Technologies, who also runs chaka.com, Tosin
Osibodu, has formed an alliance with TradingView – an online charting platform that investors use to find, and anayse better investment opportunities in global markets .

TradingView’s General Manager – Pierce Crosby has expressed how he feels about the partnership with Chaka: “We are excited to announce the release of our first Nigerian Stockbroker, Chaka. We’re delighted that African traders and businesses can now access TradingView through a local, licensed broker and we look forward to building on this partnership”.

Why this is a goal for
TradingView?

This partnership was unveiled on Saturday, and is a goal well-scored because it comes just after Chaka secures the first license to be awarded to a Fintech establishment by the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This partnership therefore, just added legal recognition and credibility to what TradingView stands for as regards global investments.

TradingView as a social network of traders and investors has up to 30 million clients, with more than half being active investors in the online investment community. Regarding spotting viable investment and their position in the scheme of things, TradingView aids potential investors to: find trading ideas, assess opportunities, place investments directly on charts, spot trends in the global market, and as well network and chat with other investors.

What other neo thing is in store?

Professional traders across the African board who use Chaka can now access TradingView with their brokerage accounts. Courtesy of the Company’s unique fee system that urges investors to preserve their capital, traders who use Chaka get to pay as low as 0.69% as fees. Not excluding the unlimited access to TradingView’s multiple community features – over 11,000 assets for trading on international stock markets, analytical tools for effective trading analysis, 6 million real-time trading ideas, over 34 million user-created charts, plus other mouth-watering features any professional investor would not willingly miss.

For Chaka, this alliance is of good significance, as it is the first African investor to launch TradingView for retail investors and businesses here. “This partnership with TradingView aligns with our mission to enable borderless digital investing for every African… as we work to expand our footprints on the continent, on of our key objectives is to identify and harness strategic partnerships such as this, as well as leverage our proprietary infrastructure, to deliver world-class, leading tools and platforms for Africans to invest, trade and build lasting wealth”. Says Osibodu.

Speaking with Techcabal , Osibodu pointed out that Chaka intends to leverage more on partnerships like this to foster its mission of enabling a thriving environment for digital investments in Africa.

Recently, Chaka launched a $1.5 million pre-seed fundraise, and is planning to spread all over the continent with a Ghanaian presence in the nearest plan. For now, Chaka users can only access TradingView by Invite. Start here.
