Chrome’s Latest Preview Page Features Exclusively For Android Users

…this allows you to sneak peek at a web page before opening an actual window.

Google added an exciting tweak that allows its web browser to redirect links via HTTPS; it secured surfing access updated a few days ago. However, Chrome’s latest updates have become more interesting for Android users as they are now enabled to preview a web page prior to loading it fully or open a new window.

Although Chrome’s latest tweak happens to be a minor feature to function on Chrome than other previous significant updates, the sneak peeks effect is exclusive to Android users for now.

Google’s sever-slide app update technology updated the page preview feature — Chrome will add its current 89th web browser app version later in the day. Meanwhile, long-press Chrome’s Omnibox (the URL address box) enables its new web preview feature — this appears between “copy link address” and “open in an  incognito tab.” According to Chrome, a page preview covers almost the entire screen but cannot be accessed further.

As the preview page displays, the page name, domain, and its favicon are visible at the top bar — there is also a button at the preview screen; clicking it leads the page to a new window. To close the preview page, click the “X” at the top right corner of your screen.

However, Chrome’s latest tweak appears to be a minor feature, but it is judiciously accurate and vital to users familiar with surfing the internet. For contrast, ads functionalities on web browsers and other platforms allow tabs to open unnecessarily.

Therefore, the preview feature allows you to have a glimpse of the page content — this helps in decision making, to either add a page to queue, open a proper window or ignore totally.

Google intends to utilize its serve-slide update technology to release Chrome latest preview feature in its current Chrome 89 version by sunset.

Google started developing this feature two years ago, according to 9to5google — it is due for Chrome users to utilize its sneak peek feature while surfing the internet.
