The gaming scene has just gotten more exciting. Technology giant, Dell, recently [launched](http://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/uscorp1/press-releases/2016-09-01-new-alienware-gaming-notebooks) a leaner version of its Alienware gaming laptops. These state-of-the-art machines were unveiled last week and they are set to revolutionize the gaming world.

Produced for ultimate gaming performance and experience, the series include 13, 15, and 17-inch versions, all VR ready. Underneath their sleek designs, each laptop rocks an Intel Core i7 CPU. While these specific feature set might already seem impressive to the casual observer, the Alienware 17 gaming laptop begs for more attention.

This flagship notebook harnesses even more power with overclocked Intel Core i7 k-series processors and DDR4 memory with an impressive speed of up to 2667 Mhz. It means faster response, smoother gameplay, and enhanced gaming experience.

To up the stakes for gaming enthusiasts, Alienware adds another fascinating feature to the mix: the optional IR Tobii eye-tracking technology. What does this do? It heightens the gaming experience by allowing users to fine-tune their gaming skills with a new Overwolf app. This innovation replays users’ gaze patterns to help them determine where they were looking during gameplay. Perfect for players wishing to learn from their mistakes and refine their attentiveness to gain a competitive edge.

The larger 15 and 17-inch versions flaunt 1080p IPS screens with 120Hz refresh and G-sync support, plus 2667 MHz DDR4 RAM. These models take the gaming experience a notch higher by rendering games in richer detail and snappier pace.

When it comes to graphics, which is a key aspect of any gaming machine, Alienware doesn’t disappoint. The laptops are equipped with the latest NVIDIA laptop cards for exceptional graphic performance. Specifically, the Alienware 17 has the NVIDIA GTX 1080 chip, while the 13 and 15 Alienware versions feature the GTX 1070 and 1060 chips respectively.

Every model in this series supports 4K display in addition to being VR ready – a clear indication that Dell built these machines to keep up with, if not outpace, the current gaming industry standards.

The battery life of these Alienware versions are worth noting too. Dell proudly claims that the 68 watt-hour lithium ion battery along with an optional 99 watt-hour battery ensures extended gameplay even when unplugged.

To better understand the powerful impact of the graphics featured in Dell’s new Alienware series, consider reading the [Engadget article about the latest NVIDIA](https://www.engadget.com/2016/08/16/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080m-1070m-1060m/) cards.
