The ongoing price and storage-limit competition amongst cloud storage and collaboration services has seen another development, with Dropbox increasing the storage limit of its Pro service. Now, users can avail themselves of a staggering one terabyte for $9.99 per month or $99 per year. This change will be applicable to existing Pro users in the forthcoming days. Additionally, Dropbox has introduced a few modern features, including enhanced controls for sharing files. These improvements provide the ability to designate file access roles to those you share with – they can either be an owner, editor, or viewer. Furthermore, shared links can now be set to expire after a predetermined period, adding an extra layer of security and control.
