How To Convert Lotus Domino Files To Outlook- DXL To PST Conversion

A demanding email client nowadays is an Outlook offered by Microsoft. It has the easy to access GUI that can be used by every user. This is the main reason due to which every IBM notes user also wants to perform DXL to PST Conversion. Microsoft Outlook uses the PST file format for saving all the users’ essential details including emails messages, contacts, calendars, addresses, etc. Domino is only a Server program used for Lotus Notes and it saves the data and other structural database components in DXL file format.

  • The Lotus Notes Domino search function isn’t up to date.
  • Every time a message reaches your mailbox. You get a specific email. This will not be noticeable to you when you access the message even if you refresh the list of messages.
  • Due to their complex user interface, you require technical knowledge to start operating this software. A non – tech user can’t effectively control the Lotus Notes Domino process.
  • When you save email at a location it will stay at the same location. And unless you’re making several links at various directories. So if you delete a file from its area it may be possible to delete from all the folders due to which data loss is highly probable.
  • You are not permitted to use multiple accounts in this Lotus Notes Domino software, if you’re using another account then you must log in to the account separately.

  3. A list will be shown now, then hit the DXL file(s) and hit Open.

  7. After some time, the process completes. Hit Ok to proceed. 
  8. Press the email item that you want to check the preview in the preview pane. You can also view the attached attachments. Press Save.
  9. Here, choose the file format to convert the chosen DXL file(s). Pick PST format for DXL to PST Conversion. Then hit the Browse button for selecting a location for new files.
  10. Pick any path for PST files and hit OK.
  11. Now, the process will start. The process will complete in some time. Then press OK and exit the software.

This way you can move all your DXL files from IBM Notes into Outlook PST.
