Just when your Facebook feed was getting nearly saturated with videos, Facebook is going to allow you stream Music directly from your Feed. This was announced by Michael Cerda who is a Product Director at Facebook who said “On the Facebook iPhone app, songs and albums shared from the leading music services will become “Music Stories,” a new post format which allows people to listen to a 30-second preview of the shared song (or album) while on Facebook. The preview is streamed from either Apple Music or Spotify (depending on the source of the link shared), and can be purchased from or saved to the respective music streaming service.”

This new feature called Music Stories allows users to preview their favourite songs from Spotify and Apple Music. With renewed push on videos, music and articles (news), Facebook is turbo charging the News Feed as we know it.
