The Initiative from Flutterwave Accelerate Workshop, which is a two-day virtual coaching program created to provide young Africans the practical skills they need to succeed in the digital sector, was recently announced by Flutterwave, Africa’s top payments technology business.

The program offers direct access to industry experience in four highly sought-after job paths: design, marketing, product management, data privacy and cybersecurity, and university students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals. Ted Oladele, CEO of Mira and former VP of Design & Product at Flutterwave; Noel Ozoemena, Senior Manager of Branding and Storytelling; Nujinim Egwegbete-Odukwu, Head of Infrastructure Security; Abisola Epoyun, Data Privacy Manager; and Oluwatobiloba Animashaun, Product Manager at Flutterwave, are among the accomplished tech professionals who will lead the sessions.

This project is the result of Flutterwave’s conviction that Africa’s promise can be realized by giving young people access and opportunity. The organization is dedicated to fostering and promoting innovation through financial solutions and talent development initiatives since it acknowledges that the continent’s youthful, vibrant population is its greatest and most important asset.

“At Flutterwave, we are committed to investing in the upcoming generation of builders and innovators in order to realize Africa’s full potential. According to Yewande Akomolafe-Kalu, AVP, Branding & Storytelling at Flutterwave, “For ambitious young Africans ready to revolutionize the continent’s technological landscape, the Accelerate Workshop serves as both a knowledge hub and a springboard.” “We’re providing them with the resources, resources, and self-assurance they need to enter the digital economy with courage.”

In addition to providing technical instruction, the course seeks to educate participants about the reality of working in African digital businesses and help them acquire the soft skills they need. These courses give attendees comprehensive knowledge they can utilize right away, covering everything from product development and user behavior to data protection laws and impact storytelling.

The two sessions of the workshop are scheduled for April 26 and May 3, 2025. Registering for the workshop is currently open at https://calendly.com/flutterwave-5ni/flutterwaveaccelerateworkshop

Flutterwave’s continued dedication to giving young Africans global skills and building a future characterized by opportunity, inclusivity, and transformational effect is embodied in the Accelerate Workshop.
