Techne reportedly announced the winners of its $40,000 Corporate Innovation Programme for African startups. The winners are all indigenes of Egypt, including Gmimd, Cropsa, Flash Lead, and Clinido expected to split Techne’s combined cash prize

The combined corporate innovative competition was reserved for startups based in the Mediterranean region of Africa. Techne split the accelerator program into four sub-sectors of the African technology ecosystem, including EdTech (Gmimd), Clean Tech (Cropsa), Real Estate Tech (Flash Lead), and eHealth (Clinido).

Techne commenced its Corporate Innovation Program towards the end of 2021, Techne’s intention posed as a research project on technology solutions suitable for the bootstrapping startups in the competitive market. Techne included its corporate consultancy as a mentorship deal to aid the winner of its innovative program to utilize their cash prize.

Over 300 startups based on Africa’s Mediterranean coast enrolled for Techne’s innovative competition. Since November 2021, several phases of the competition have elapsed prior to the final stage. Before the four finalists were chosen, nine startups faced close combat with corporate aid from the orchestrators to determine the best.

Techne’s CEO, Mohamed El Dallal, shared his corporate enthusiasm to have orchestrated the “innovative program in motion. We believe that the core of this program highlights the importance of linking market belief for corporates and tech startups with high dynamics to solve emerging.”

The program is meant to accelerate startups to share soluble tech in “persistent problems that exist in the market which leads to exponential sustainability and growth rate in the startup scene,” he continued.

Just as Gmind, Clinido, Corpsa, and Flash Lead have emerged winners of Techne’s combined $40,000 to accelerate their autonomous tech platforms. These startups will also continue to benefit from Techne’s corporate mentorship to bolster its corporate funding as well as the Egyptian tech market ecosystem.
