Even though the official unveiling of the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S8 is just a week away, the internet is already buzzing with leaked details. The most recent of these speculations is centered around the color options for the smartphone. It seems that consumers will be able to choose their Samsung Galaxy S8 in three different hues: black sky, orchid grey, and arctic silver.

This tantalizing tidbit has come from a tweet by tech leaker Evan Blass. Furthermore, Blass has also hinted at the possible price points of both the S8 and the S8 Plus variants. He indicates that they might be priced at $899 and $999 respectively. If true, this suggests that Samsung’s latest offering will come with a heftier price tag than its rival, the iPhone 7.

In addition to these design and pricing leaks, the rumor mill has also spilled details about the potential accessory costs. The GearVR and Gear360, which are part of Samsung’s pioneering virtual reality technology, could possibly cost $129 and $229 respectively.

Perhaps one of the most intriguing details to emerge from these leaks is the device’s rumored “dock functionality” feature. This is expected to allow users to connect their S8 to a monitor, essentially transforming their smartphone experience into a desktop equivalent. It’s a feature that could bridge the gap between mobile and desktop computing, which has been a long-standing goal in the tech industry.

As is the nature of leaks, these details are yet to be officially confirmed by Samsung. However, as the impending launch approaches, we anticipate more information about the Samsung Galaxy S8 to become available.

One feature of the Samsung Galaxy S8 we can confirm is the introduction of Bixby. Samsung’s new digital voice assistant promises a fresh approach to voice-activated features, distinguishing themselves from industry competitors.

Make sure to keep an eye out for our comprehensive coverage of the Samsung Galaxy S8 official launch next week to find out which of these rumors hold water.

With its stunning potential color options, high-tech features, and game-changing innovations, the Samsung Galaxy S8 could be set to define the next chapter of smartphone evolution.
