Google Docs Can Now Wrap Images, Either Behind Or Infront Of A Text

Google is developing a handful of vital tools to bolster its Docs app. The tech company made this product exclusively free for global usage. The current Google Docs app can now let you place an image either at the front or behind the text.

In contrast to Microsoft’s Word, Google’s Doc is widely accepted due to its flexibility in jotting down notes, interconnecting the app with other users, essay writing, etc. Still, Microsoft Word is more complex and equipped than Google’s document app.

Meanwhile, text wrapping has also featured on several other document’s apps including Doc — and except Microsoft Word. Google added a “quick search“ in its Doc app that allows you to search for text and place them at the most preferred position.

Google Docs Quick Search also sources out an image that can also be navigated to a preferred position — this improvement has eased its users to edit documents with flexibility. Nonetheless, this upgrade also indicates that importing documents into Google’s Doc, will not require further adjustments since the file will maintain its original format.

Google is yet to make this tool available for use — although, this tweak will be located in the “text wrapping toolbar” — placing a text either behind or upfront of a text will be accessed after clicking on the image.

According to the tech company, they set to roll out this tool available for any personal Google account such as Google’s Workspace or G suite. While the extended version releases, it is expected to take a while before it can be used by its entirety user-base.
