Google Food Finder Combats Feeding Insecurity Via its Search Engine

Google has reportedly developed a “one-stop-shop” kind of website that serves the purpose of resolving food insecurity for people around the world. This initiative is called “Find Food Supports” with stationed food banks in designated areas that are likely to encounter inappropriate feeding.

The Search Giant also integrated its Find Food platform with its other Mapping platform for ease locator on the closet school lunch pickup program, food pantry, or banks that distribute Google’s resources to the needy, according to Google’s Find Food Blog post.

Google intends to lead philanthropic services in terms of global rankings whereby other significant nonprofits organizations have purportedly supported the Search Giant to bolster this feeding initiative. Organizations like the American Department of Agriculture, No Kid Hungry, and FoodFinder — including Google to provide more than 90,000 food banks across unsecured locations.

Google’s Food Finder platform is an extensive version of the Search Giant’s initial Project Delta they later changed to a team administering its Food for Good platform. This platform has also shared Alphabet X moonshot headquarters. It worth noting that Project Delta was established to promote smart food distribution — a standardized feeding initiative to control wastage.

For instance, the Department of Agriculture intends to duly manage food scarcity since the outbreak of the pandemic. Over 45 million people were reported to experience starvation while Google’s stationed food banks or pantries, food bank near me, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and food stamps application.

According to Google’s Food for Food Blog post, “Google wants people to know they’re not alone.” The Search Giant also produced awareness videos they shared on YouTube to curb food insecurity. Note that directory links to food banks are also attached to this website — including links to make donations to push supports.
