Google launched its brand of smartphones dubbed Pixel that has been existing for almost a decade. The Search Giant has continued to develop this smart device with interesting features such as integrating Artificial Intelligence, AI, with HDR+ and Night Sight, to process computational photography.

With AI, Google have been able to accomplish more interesting features to modify its Pixel smartphones — the inbuilt Recorder app now has powerful speech recognition that can search for audio clips, record as well as transcribe audio files.

Google has reportedly fused Machine Learning with Artificial Intelligence to bolster Pixel innovative experience. Still, both ML and AI have been limited to visualize Google’s innovative work. The Search Giant the built its first semiconductor — System on a Chip (SoC) to powe Google’s next generation of gadgets.

Google dubbed its custom SoC Tensor — this tech powers the latest model its smartphones such as Pixel 6 and its Pro model. You’re expected to be thrilled with the new phase of Google’s smartphones integrated with Tensor SoC, ML and AI.

The camera, sensors and lenses are redesigned to match the typical square at the rear of the device — with Google’s custom SoC the entire camera bar has been redesigned with polished aluminium, according to the Senior Vice President, Devices & Service, Rick Osterloh.

According to Google’s blog post, Osterloh emphasized more about its custom Tensor SoC that supports Pixel devices which already has ML and AI — more computational resources will bolster the full potential of the next-generation of Pixel smartphones.

Still, Osterloh didn’t reveal detailed characteristics of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro that includes features, technical specs and pricing and availability. Meanwhile, leaks have reportedly revealed the Pixel 6 codename is tagged as “Oriel”, and Pixel 6 Pro is codenamed “Raven” — both Pixel models is powered by Androids 12, the current OS.

Pixel 6 (Oriel) has 6.4 screen size with AMOLED display. The front camera resolution is sized 8MP, and 50MP (Wide) + 12MP (Ultra wide) at the rear of the device. There is two available inbuilt storage options including 1128GB & 256GB, 8GB RAM size. Oriel battery capacity is weighed at 4,614mAh.

Pixel 6 (Raven) has 6.71 screen size with Plastic OLED display. The front camera resolution is sized 12MP, and 50MP (Wide) + 48MP (Tele) + 12MP (Ultra wide) at the rear of the device. Raven has three optional available inbuilt storage including 128GB, 256GB & 512GB, and 8GB RAM size. Raven’s battery capacity is up to 5,000mAh.

According to Osterloh, the new Pixel smartphones that rolls out this fall, is entitled to five years software update — Google appears to be committed to releasing updates to bolster its Pixel smartphones and Android 12 fused with Tensor.

This depicts the security system of this device will be authentic while Tensor gives Google a better chance to compete against Apple. Since the iPhone maker already features its custom M1 chip in its smartphones and other gadgets.

Techbooky suggests Tensor will be the mother SoC that powers other smartphone brands that depends on Android OS. An means of expansion for Google — aside from supplying operating systems to other manufacturers, Tensor is expected join the list of essential tech for demand.
