Huawei, a global leader in tech innovation, has recently announced the launch of the new Honor 6 Plus. This cutting-edge device, which shares aesthetic and design elements with the iPhone 6 Plus, comes with a few unique adaptations that set it apart.

Firstly, the Honor 6 Plus can be thought of as an enhanced version of the Honor 6, released by the Chinese tech giant earlier this year. It boasts an upscaled screen size, complementing its overall larger design, and a name that speaks to its aspiration of competing with other “Plus” models in the smartphone market.

Running on the Android platform, the Honor 6 Plus features a host of state-of-the-art specifications. Sporting a 5.5-inch 1080p display, it is powered by Huawei’s in-house octa-core processor and is backed by 3GB of RAM. Moreover, it houses 32GB of expandable storage, ample to cater to all your media and data needs. The device also includes dual SIM card slots, providing users with the flexibility and efficiency of using two mobile numbers on a single device.

What sets this device apart is its phenomenal battery capacity. The Honor 6 Plus is equipped with a 3,600 mAh battery, offering users extended hours of usage and standby time. Adding to its impressive features is its dual-rear-camera setup, consisting of two 8-megapixel shooters. This unique feature allows photography enthusiasts to refocus their images after capturing, offering more room for creativity and precision.

The Honor 6 Plus, which runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat, will make its debut in the Chinese market. The 3G version will retail at roughly 60,000 Naira or $320, whereas its 4G-LTE variant will be available for 75,000 Naira or $400.

On the African continent, dual SIM phones have become a preferred choice, accounting for nearly a quarter of mobile users. The reasons for their popularity can be attributed to the economic advantages they offer and the convenience of not having to carry two individual devices. Additionally, network coverage issues and irregular network strength across different regions have made dual SIM phones a more practical choice.

At this stage, there hasn’t been any confirmed news on when the Honor 6 Plus will be launched in Nigeria or the wider African region. Rest assured, we will keep you updated with the latest information as soon as it becomes available.
