In a significant evolution of what was previously known as Project Spartan, Microsoft has revealed their new and improved browser, now officially titled Microsoft Edge. For those not familiar with the project, Microsoft Edge is an innovative browser that will be a standard feature in the highly anticipated Windows 10, which is set to launch this July.

In an effort to familiarize tech enthusiasts and potential users, Microsoft recently released a video to showcase the impressive features and interface of Microsoft Edge.

With Microsoft Edge set as the default browser for Windows 10, both users and developers are set to benefit from its enhanced capabilities. Enhanced features include the ability to directly annotate web pages, seamless Cortana integration, swift loading times, and heightened security measures, to name a few. These improvements aim to deliver a more streamlined and enriching browsing experience.

Moreover, Microsoft Edge also comes with exceptional news for developers. It is going to be significantly easier to import Firefox add-ons and Chrome extensions to Microsoft Edge. While there may be some necessary adjustments during this process, the task is substantially less daunting than previous experiences, a much-welcomed improvement in the developer community.

With its user-friendly interface, enhanced features and improved adaptability for developers, Microsoft Edge is set to revolutionize the browsing experience and is a clear indication of Microsoft’s commitment to delivering high-end user experience in its forthcoming Windows 10 operating system.
