If you are closely following the world of technology, it would be nearly impossible for you to miss the exciting news – Microsoft’s flagship product, Windows 10, is ready for its grand summer launch in an impressive 190 countries and accessible in 111 languages. In this post, we’ll delve into the key features of this new offering you should be aware of and how it’s poised to significantly alter your Windows experience.

The first piece of information that Microsoft has subtly suggested is that we might soon bid adieu to the long-standing Internet Explorer. However, the change is not as grim as it might seem. The Internet Explorer platform is all set to be superseded by a novel browser currently code-named ‘Project Spartan.’ Microsoft’s marketing chief Chris Capossela has disclosed that they are actively brewing a new name and brand for this innovative browser. As he puts it, “We’re now researching what the new brand, or the new name, for our browser should be in Windows 10.” Here’s a piece of nostalgic news for enthusiasts – the classic Internet Explorer will still be retained in some versions of Windows, primarily for enterprise compatibility.

A second revolutionary introduction in Windows 10 is the sophisticated biometric authentication feature, aptly titled ‘Windows Hello’. With this forward-thinking functionality, you will be able to unlock your Windows devices with your finger, face, or iris. An intriguing feature, isn’t it? A Venture Beat report quoted Microsoft as describing Windows Hello as “biometric authentication which can provide instant access to your Windows 10 devices.” However, the footnote indicates that Windows Hello mandates specialized hardware, such as a fingerprint reader, an illuminated IR sensor, or other biometric sensors.

While these features spell an exciting future for Microsoft users, it’s crucial to remember that this information is as per the company’s current plans and may be subject to changes leading up to the launch. All eyes are now on this summer, where we can witness the complete transformation of the Windows experience. Stay tuned for further updates.
