Kaunas, Lithuania (December 23, 2022) – iDenfy, the global identity verification and fraud prevention service provider, announced a new partnership with Beera Station, the unique self-service beer station network. For Beera Station, collaborating with iDenfy will prevent minors from accessing age-restricted services faster.

Asked about the challenges behind age-restricted products, iDenfy officials explain that the fewer regulations and security methods, the more chances of misuse arise. For this reason, regulators impose stricter laws for digital apps and innovative solutions around alcoholic beverages. Consequently, as claimed by the ID verification startup, such businesses need to show effort when ensuring security; otherwise, they risk hefty fines and the loss of their license.

Beera Station, the self-pouring machine network that allows consumers to pour their own beer, agrees with this approach, stating that verifying customers’ age via online ID verification is one of the most effective ways to prevent underage access. That’s why the company started to look for reliable digital age verification methods and partnered with iDenfy.

As Beera Station explained, the whole process is simple and conducted through its app, Tappster. This was one of the goals for Beera Station, as the business wanted to ensure security without compromising on user experience. iDenfy’s software cross-checks the date of birth and the personal information provided with the customer’s uploaded ID document. That makes it impossible for underage individuals to access Beera Station’s machines.

iDenfy ensures efficiency and accuracy for its four-step identity verification solution with artificial intelligence and real human supervision. Currently, Beera Station customers complete the verification in less than a minute. iDenfy’s optical character recognition (OCR) extracts data in 0.02 seconds while automatically recognizing the document’s type and country.

The Know Your Customer (KYC) experts also use biometric algorithms to scan faces, run in-depth analyses, and spot fraudulent attempts to pass the verification. For instance, altered IDs, stolen passports, or photoshopped images are quickly rejected, leaving zero chances for fraudsters to receive access to Beera Station’s app.

After joining forces with iDenfy, Beera Station can allow consumers to buy their drinks through its app without friction. The ID verification company takes care of personal data on its servers, which leaves more time for Beera Station to focus on other business operations. With iDenfy, the enterprise is fully compliant with KYC and GDPR requirements.

It’s worth mentioning that iDenfy is certified by ISO 27001, which benefits both businesses in terms of protection from security threats and reputational risks. Earlier this year, iDenfy announced its partnership with Lloyd’s, the global insurance marketplace, which enabled insurance for all its fraud prevention products.
