Instagram Now Lets You Save Live Videos To Your Phone Without The Comments Though

You can now save livestreamed Instagram videos to your phone. The Facebook owned company announced on Monday that it would allow users save videos on their device should they not want to watch it disappear.

But don’t expect to see comments in the downloaded videos though.

After your live broadcast ends, tap Save in the upper right corner. You’ll only be able to save your video — not the comments, likes, number of viewers or any live interactions. After saving, tap Done and your live video will be saved to your camera roll but will no longer be available in the app.

Live videos came to Instagram in January and even though we don’t have official figures yet, it looks as if users are excited about it and to paraphrasing Instagram’s own words, saving live videos is just the beginning of changes to live videos.
