American multinational corporation and technology company , Intel has on Monday announced its plans to manufacture the Intel Arc, a brand-new consumer Graphical Programming Units (GPU), fashioned with modern high-end discreet GPUs.
The Intel Arc comes with innovative graphics solutions that is projected to deliver high-performance gaming, engaging visuals, and consistent game streaming and skill-based exposure, with the tech company poised to draw the competition line with GPU inventor Nvidia and AMD graphic cards.
The product which will be titled DG2 GPU, with resultant codename ‘Alchemist’ in the quarter of the year 2022 with the mandate of blessing the worldwide gaming community with a complete assemblage of mesh shading, video upscaling, carriable rate shading, and real-time ray tracing.
The Gordon Moore and Robert Noyce founded company also promised to continue its provision of accelerated super-sampling to the Arc Al, a further demonstration of the company’s avowed move to healthily compete with Nvidia’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology.
The Nvidia DLSS is an artificial intelligence technology that is focused on the enhancement of graphics performance with the use of Tensor Core AI processors on GeForce RTX GPUs, tapping on the strengths of deep learning neural networks with the aim of boosting frame rates while also generating sharp images for video games.
The head of Intel’s client GPU business, Roger Chandler, while analyzing the impact of the new technology in a statement said:
“The launch of the Intel Arc brand and the reveal of future hardware generations signifies Intel’s deep and continued commitment to gamers and creators everywhere. We have teams doing incredible work to ensure we deliver first-class and frictionless experiences when these products are available early next year”.

The Arc DG2 GPU will also help magnify games with lower resolution with slicker frame rates to compensate the low quality and elevate it to a higher image quality resolution.
Intel had in a teaser video on twitter while announcing the coming product showed the demonstration of prototype silicon optimizing PUBG, Psychonauts 2, Metro Exodus, and other slick functions.
It will be recalled that Intel had in July this year announced setting up of a new architecture roadmap that highlighted its innovative strategy of having to rename subsequent node generations.
Pat Gelsinger, Intel’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) had earlier in March intimated the public on Intel’s ‘Engineering the Future’ plan that was mooted to move more of the chip production to third-party manufactories, in the wake of a 20 billion dollars investment move with two new manufacturers in Arizona and Intel Foundry Services branch to create chips for various companies.
With the new development, Intel has initiated plans to reclaim its chipmaking kingship, especially with the revelation of its knack for renaming future nodes.
