Today marks a significant milestone in Apple’s history as iOS 10 officially debuts on iPhones across the globe. The highly anticipated operating system lives up to our expectations we previously reported on. As I pen this article, my device is excitedly downloading the update. Preliminary glimpses of iOS 10 are impressive, aligning with Apple’s statement that this is their most revolutionary iOS update to date.

However, the transition to the new system was not as smooth as Apple might have hoped. Numerous users voiced their complaints on Twitter regarding hardware issues encountered after updating their devices to iOS 10.

Apple deftly managed the situation and swiftly rectified the problem. In an official company statement, they declared, “We experienced a brief issue with the software update process, affecting a small number of users during the first hour of availability. The problem was quickly resolved, and we apologize to those customers. Anyone who was affected should connect to iTunes to complete the update or contact AppleCare for help.”

With the technical storm now seemingly over, anticipation builds as users worldwide eagerly await installing iOS 10. If the update is not yet visible in your settings, ensure that your model is among the following: iPhone SE, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPod touch 6th generation, iPad 4th generation, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, and iPad Pro.

The iOS 10 update also signals the coming of updates from other App Store publishers. Notably, Nintendo has launched Super Mario Run stickers for iMessage, adding to the excitement surrounding the major upgrade of iMessage. The messaging platform now boasts an integrated App Store in iOS 10, offering standalone apps as well as broadband extensions of apps on your home screen.

To join the iOS 10 revolution, owners of the listed iPhone/iPad models should navigate to Settings>General>Software Update. A new world of innovative features awaits!
