It’s been three days since Facebook and its platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp experienced their worst outage since 2008. Millions of users reported that they could not access the social media platforms. Facebook later came out to say it was due to a configuration issue on one of their routers. But now some users are experiencing what they saw three days ago.
Facebook hasn’t said anything yet about what’s happening but users are taking to Twitter and other platforms to say they are experiencing some kind of outage.
I can currently access it but many U.S media houses are reporting some kind of outage.
#Instagramdownagain is trending on Twitter but it looks like WhatsApp is ok at the moment.
A second outage is not good even for Facebook that has suffered a reputational damage especially from a former staffer’s revelation about the special media giant putting profit before humanity.
Again some can access the platforms but we’ll wait and see as the story develops.
#Instadown is also trending which means Instagram could be the platform that’s down for some even though some are saying the Facebook app isn’t loading well.
