Meet Ayan Qureshi, a five-year-old prodigy from Coventry, England who has joined the exclusive ranks of Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCP). His exceptional cognitive abilities suggest a technological prodigy in the making, and his story is as impressive as it is inspiring.

In an interview with the BBC, Ayan admitted that while he found the certification examination tough, he thoroughly enjoyed the process and is now looking forward to contributing to the technological landscape in the future. A complex array of multiple choice, drag and drop, hotspots, and scenario-based questions posed a challenging yet enjoyable task for this young enthusiast.

Breaking down sophisticated, technical jargon into a language understandable to a five-year-old was indeed the toughest challenge, according to Ayan’s proud father Asim. The remarkable speed at which Ayan absorbed information them fascinated his father. “I found whatever I was telling him, the next day he’d remember everything—so I started to feed him more information,” Asim said.

While his father cautioned about overexposure to technology at such a tender age, he believes Ayan has taken the opportunity in stride. His mother, too, shares her joy and pride, stating, “While I don’t want him setting world records every day, I wholeheartedly want him to give his best in whatever he chooses as his path in life.”

Originally from Pakistan, the family moved to England in 2009, providing an environment conducive to fostering Ayan’s exceptional gifts.

By way of sharing a light moment at the end of this remarkable story, it’s worth noting this journalist obtained their MCP in their 20s. Much applause to Ayan, as he continues to surpass expectations at such an early age. Let’s all encourage and anticipate this young prodigy’s contributions to the global tech scene in the future. Kudos, young man!
