Those pictures emerged as Argentina defeated France in Qatar on penalties to win the World Cup in a thrilling final on Sunday. For team captain Messi, who declared that this would be his final World Cup game of an extraordinary career, it was the pinnacle of success. He received the Golden Ball as the best player in the tournament after scoring two goals.

Prior to Messi’s post, the most-liked image on Instagram was a regular brown egg from 2019. This photo surpassed that of  Kylie Jenner, a reality star celebrity and business entrepreneur of cosmetics, who had previously held the record with almost 57 million likes.

Millions of fans flooded the streets of Buenos Aires on Tuesday to welcome home the Argentine World Cup-winning team as they arrived in a joyous city. With the gold trophy held high, Messi exited the plane first, leading his victorious team onto a red carpet at the airport.

Argentina won their third World Cup with the victory in Doha, marking the nation’s first win since 1986 when the great Diego Maradona led the squad to victory in Mexico, their first World Cup triumph in 36 years.

A hearty CONGRATULATIONS to the Argentines for this grand victory from all of us at TechBooky.
