Microsoft announces an education-focused event on November 9th: What to Expect - India News Republic

On the 9th of November which is a few hours away, Microsoft says it is hosting an event. The focus of this event by Microsoft is educational technology. It’s taking place at 12 PM ET.

According to a blog post, Microsoft says the event would be an opportunity to share an in-depth look at the latest technological solutions while also examining gaps in learning that the pandemic has created. We would hear Microsoft partners, school leaders, and a few special guests speak on various technological solutions at the event. Participants will also learn about new and existing technology from Microsoft Education.

About a month ago the company released Windows 11, its next major operating system. Perhaps Microsoft will reveal details of its upcoming education-focused updates that might just be on the way for Windows 11.

Microsoft’s emphasis on the words “new and existing technology” sparks some concerns, perhaps it may indicate that new hardware revelations might surface at the event as well.  About a week ago Microsoft revealed a wave of new products at its Ignite 2021 event. From announcing plans to release an update to Excel by bringing a new JavaScript API to the spreadsheet app to announcing plans for 3D Metaverse apps for Xbox and gaming and then to the new azure that adopts OpenAI’s GPT-3 language technology, the company kept users. The most incredible revelation at the Ignite conference remains plans by Microsoft to compete with Facebook’s Meta in the race to Metaverse with 3D Avatars and more. After all the recent revelations, indication points that may be the company isn’t done with introducing new hardware in 2021 just yet. Anyways fingers are crossed as Microsoft enthusiasts await what Microsoft would do.
