Tizeti has promised to cover the entire West African telecom landscape with swift broadband solutions as the telecom company prepares to penetrate the Cote d’Ivoire market with Microsoft. The telecom company reportedly partnered with Microsoft to aid its Ivorian marketplace entry a mission complete as the third West African market Tizeti is available.

The telecom company prepares to penetrate Cote d’Ivoire, Tizeti also flirts a market entry proposal with the Togolese telecom regulators to license its operations just as its partnership with Microsoft does. Tizeti’s presence in the Ivorian market focused on leveraging internet broadband connection with the target market of twelve million users

The telecom company has recorded 45% penetration in the Ivorian market where inflation has impacted both sides of its economy since the 2023 inception. Tizeti CEO Kendall Ananyi addresses the telecom company’s commitment to be relentless with the current target market having co-signed a deal to seek aid from the software giant.

“We are thrilled to partner with Microsoft to bring reliable and affordable high-speed internet access to underserved communities in Côte d’Ivoire.” Ananyi revealed their “mission at Tizeti is to bring affordable and reliable internet to more Africans outside the digital envelope, and this partnership is a significant step forward in achieving that goal.”

Still, both parties did not disclose the information if the deal will continuously support Tizeti in penetrating the Togolese telecom landscape when the time is right. Could it be a fifth-generation related collaboration?

The Tizeti commitment to alter digital inclusion in the Ivorian market is focused on revenue growth whereby the partnership with the software giant is an expensive one. Ivorian reported paying the least $3.06 to subscribe to 1GB of internet data. This has made the Ivorian market enlisted as the 173rd inflated market price system in the world.

“In the last 10 years of our operation, we have been able to generate ₦11 billion as revenue and this we achieved without any debt as of today. We have grown significantly within the last few years, being profitable in three out of the last four years, and paid our first dividend this year,” Ananyi said.

“We currently have over 3884 hotspot locations and built one tower every month since we started, with 2.8 million users in Nigeria. Today, Tizeti delivers over 190 TBPS of data a day, which is about 20% of what Airtel, the second largest telco with coverage in 36 states, delivers.”

Other West African markets where the telecom company operates pays lesser subscription fee pared with the Ivorian market. According to our analysis, the Tizeti price system is based on the economic standard of the operating market whereby the Nigerian market pays $2.96, and Ghana users pay one dollar a gigabyte of internet data. The data price system is definitely based on the economic standard of the existing market.
