Netflix Games Brings FIFA to Its Platform Ahead of World Cup 2026

FIFA World Cup 2026 is very much around the corner. And the world comes together to celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026 this summer, fans can play a brand-new FIFA football simulation game that is only available on Netflix Games. Netflix subscribers may experience the excitement and drama of the tournament in its purest, most delightful form thanks to the game, which was created and released by Delphi Interactive. The structure is quick to learn, exciting to master, and accessible to all. You can also play online alone or with friends: Your phone and Netflix are all you need. The release is coinciding with the June 11, 2026, commencement of the FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

All Netflix subscribers will have free access to a new, unique FIFA football simulation game which is created by Delphi Interactive. As is it, the game is a mobile-first product that can be played with a smartphone as a controller on phones and some smart TVs. 

“The FIFA World Cup will be the cultural event of 2026, and fans will now be able to celebrate their fandom by bringing the game right into their living rooms,” stated Alain Tascan, Netflix’s President of Games. “We want to return football to its origins by creating a game that anyone can play with the push of a button.” 

“FIFA is very excited to partner with Netflix Games and Delphi Interactive ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026,” stated FIFA President Gianni Infantino. This significant partnership marks a significant turning point in FIFA’s dedication to innovation in the football gaming industry, which aims to reach billions of football fans worldwide of all ages and will be reinventing the concept of simulation games. Our updated game genuinely ushers in a new era of digital football. Members of Netflix will be able to access it for free, and that’s a significant milestone for FIFA.

The founder and CEO of Delphi Interactive, Casper Daugaard, asserts that football is the biggest sport in the world. “As devoted FIFA fans, it is a privilege to assist in bringing in the daring next generation and reimagining the franchise’s future. Our goal is straightforward: Make FIFA the most entertaining, accessible, and worldwide football game ever made. “Together with FIFA and Netflix Games, Delphi is building a game worthy of the world’s favourite sport with a game that anyone, anywhere can pick up and instantly feel the magic of football,” says Andy Kleinman, President of Delphi Interactive.

Everyone can now play games on Netflix, which millions of people currently watch on their TVs. With their phones acting as controllers, Netflix subscribers will be able to play a variety of games on their TVs alongside their favourite TV series and films, including the recently launched FIFA game. 

In terms of the availability, according to Netflix, Its say it will be available on the app for iOS and Android smartphones, as well as compatible smart TVs, allow users to access the game, which is only available to Netflix subscribers. 

For both solo and online multiplayer play, the emphasis is on an approachable, “fast to learn, thrilling to master” experience rather than a rigorous simulation.
