In a significant move towards cross-device compatibility, Microsoft has unveiled its latest productivity suite, Office 2016 for Mac. This exciting new installment was announced in a detailed blog post by Kirk Koenigsbauer, who serves as the corporate vice president for the Office Client Applications and Services team. According to him, the software giant endeavors to ensure consistent formatting across multiple devices, striving to present the user’s output identically, regardless of the device or platform in use, including web-based access.

PowerPoint for Mac stands out with its improved Presenter View, offering users comprehensive control during presentations. The refreshed interface flashes the current slide, the upcoming one, speaker notes and a timer—all on the presenter’s Mac screen—while the audience views the main presentation solely. The software will also come with a new animation pane to add flair to your presentations, along with a vast set of slide transitions to help convey your ideas with an added touch of sophistication.

Next in line is the Outlook for Mac, designed to make the management of email, calendars, contacts, and tasks, a breeze. It features push mail support so your inbox is reliably up-to-date. Other handy enhancements include an improved conversation view that smartly structures your inbox around threaded conversations, ensuring you never miss out on related messages. Moreover, with the new message preview, quickly decide if an email requires immediate reading or can be deferred—we’ll show you the first sentence just below the subject line.

OneNote for Mac represents the newest addition to Office for Mac. This digital note-taking tool enables the capture and coordination of ideas directly in your custom digital notebooks which are readily accessible on any device. Offering a wide range of formatting possibilities, including bold, italicize, underline, or highlight notes, OneNote allows integrated file, picture, and table insertions. Moreover, the software’s search engine keeps pace with your tags, typed notes, and even recognizes text in images and handwritten notes. Notably, OneNote notebooks can also be shared facilitating seamless cooperation among friends, family, or colleagues on varied projects.

Prices for Office for Mac start from $6.99/month. Nigerian users can click here to view all pricing options. Discover a whole new world of productivity with Office 2016 for Mac and revolutionize your daily operations.
