Oracle Cloud to Offer xAI’s Grok 3 Model to Enterprise Clients

Oracle announced on Tuesday, a collaboration with Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI to provide business clients with the startup’s most recent AI model.

Grok models are made available through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s Generative AI service in collaboration with xAI.

Enterprise apps and cutting-edge data security with zero data retention endpoints are prioritized in the partnership.

Windstream, a telecom company, is investigating the use of xAI models to improve work streams using OCI.

The model, known as Grok 3, was first released in February with the intention of competing with the most recent DeepSeek and OpenAI products. In addition to xAI itself, Musk made the model available to paid users of his X social media network.

Through its Generative AI service, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) has partnered with xAI to provide state-of-the-art Grok models. Through this strategic alliance, xAI can train and deploy its next-generation models, such as Grok 3, by utilizing OCI’s strong AI infrastructure. Enhancing enterprise applications like content production, research, and business process automation is the goal of the partnership.

Oracle will now provide Grok 3 from its data centres to business users that choose to use the model but require that their data stay protected by Oracle’s current security measures. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure senior vice president Karan Batta told Reuters on Monday.

As part of a broader strategy to offer versions of well-known models that companies can incorporate into corporate software, Oracle now provides models from Meta, the French startup Mistral, and Cohere on the service.

“Our goal here is to make sure that we can provide a portfolio of models – we don’t have our own,” Batta stated. That’s the approach being used right now. We will be the ones to make them all available.”

This partnership’s emphasis on robust data protection and management is essential. Oracle makes sure that enterprise data is safe and not kept longer than necessary by using zero data retention endpoints. OCI’s enterprise-grade data governance capabilities, which address a major worry for many firms implementing AI technologies, complement these characteristics.

One of the first companies to investigate the possibilities of xAI’s multimodal models through OCI is Windstream, a prominent telecom service provider. Windstream hopes to improve its workforce’s decision-making skills and expedite its workstreams by incorporating these models.

An important development in AI has been made with the release of Grok 3 on Oracle’s platform, which has sophisticated reasoning capabilities honed by extensive reinforcement learning. With its strong performance in domains like coding and mathematics, this model establishes Oracle as a major force in the cutthroat enterprise AI industry.

By working with trailblazers like xAI, this alliance not only demonstrates Oracle’s dedication to provide state-of-the-art AI solutions, but also its practical approach to AI innovation. The partnership strengthens Oracle’s value proposition to its enterprise clients by providing quick access to cutting-edge AI technology while maintaining robust data protection and governance.
