Apple Will Allow Parler Back In The App Store Following Suspension

Amazon Web Service (AWS) is yet to restore the social media online.

Parler announces its comeback on Apple’s app store after the startup social media took the blame for the Capitol Hill riot during the previous US elections. While Apple re-accepted Parler to store its application under its collection of apps, the social media dated April 26th.

According to the iOS developer guidelines that demanded the social media app to compromise its usual mode of servicing whereby the social media restricted certain content that is likely to be acceptable and spread virally on either Android or desktop platforms.

“Parler has worked to put in place systems that will better detect unlawful speech and allow users to filter content undesirable to them while maintaining our strict prohibition against content moderation based on viewpoint,” according to Mark Meckler, representing Parler as its interim chief executive.

Regardless of the lawmakers that have pressured Apple into releasing the ban, they placed on the seeming right wing social media app that lasted for a couple of months. Parler had to moderate its services that are similarly odd to other social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. During the meeting between these two companies, Parler had agreed to make certain changes in line with Apple’s privacy policy.

“While the App Store version of Parler will prohibit some posts that Parler allows, those posts will remain visible on the web-based and Android versions of Parler,” Mark Meckler highlights made it worth noting that most of its user contents will be filtered on its iOS platforms.

Nonetheless, the startup social media should have detailed the kinds of contents users are not allowed to share, while addressing the press — Apple strongly requires to object to sharing ill content to the internet via this platform.

Google is yet to fully re-accept the app to the Play Store and there is no indication at this time as to whether they would. While Apple, Google, and Amazon initially collided to restrict the social media from hosting its public service since the make-believe reveals Parler as the backbone that instigated the January 6th Capitol Hill riot pushed by Trump supporters, disrupting ongoing elections and other civil activities.

Just as Parler failed to moderate violence, misinformation, hate speech, and other ill misconducts on its social network, Amazon joined the train, cutting off Parler from its Web hosting service — after series of a court filing, Amazon remained adamant to restore Parler online.

While Google mildly banned the service — downloading Parler from Google Play Store can still be accessible while the tech company consistently queries Parler’s activity.
