PayZeep, a Nigerian fintech business, is growing its digital payment services in an effort to give people access to money and establish itself in the nation’s financial technology market and the business has been quietly redefining digital payments in Nigeria for the last three years to increase financial access. Through its POS solutions and financial application development for enterprises and/or institutions, payZeep has subtly become a major player in the fintech industry. The company has quickly grown its impact by providing smooth and secure financial technology to banks, government organizations, merchants, people, and enterprises as part of its commitment to financial inclusion.

In a message provided to The PUNCH, fintech stated that this endeavour is in line with current efforts to close the nation’s financial inclusion gap.

As of November 2024, more than 28 million Nigerians still do not have access to official financial goods and services, according to the Central Bank of Nigeria.

PayZeep, one of Africa’s rapidly expanding fintech businesses, aims to become the continent’s top supplier of payment solutions. It continues to satisfy the changing demands of a dynamic market with a full range of services, such as payment gateways, portals, POS, and mPOS.

As part of these efforts, payZeep has partnered with the Amalgamated Union of App-Based Transporters of Nigeria (AUATON) to provide their drivers with an alternative cashless payment method that guarantees efficiency and security for both drivers and passengers. The mPOS (Mobile Point of Sale) machine, affectionately known as “Smallie,” has revolutionized the transportation industry by decreasing the need for cash transactions, improving convenience, and simplifying financial operations.

All payZeep POS and mPOS devices have long had contactless “Tap and Pay” technology, which offers companies and customers a smooth tap-to-pay experience. This ensures quicker and more secure transactions by doing away with the need for actual card swipes and cash handling. PayZeep is dedicated to increasing access to cutting-edge, cashless solutions that promote efficiency and economic inclusion as digital payments continue to develop.

Internet penetration has played a crucial role in boosting financial inclusion by providing access to digital services like mobile banking and online payments.

The business emphasized that important regulatory licenses supporting its services strengthen its position as a leader in Nigeria’s fintech industry.

Ayodele Adeluka, the CEO of payZeep, reflected on the company’s incredible journey, saying, “Our goal at payZeep is incredibly clear—to enable seamless transactions available to everyone.” In the last three years, they have put in countless hours to create a strong payment environment that benefits both individuals and companies. Our technologically advanced solutions, strategic alliances, and regulatory achievements establish us as a reliable leader in the fintech industry.

Ayodele emphasized the fact that the business has put in many hours over the last three years to create a strong payment environment that benefits both individuals and companies. They are positioned as a reliable leader in the fintech industry thanks to our technologically advanced solutions, strategic alliances, and regulatory achievements.

One of its most notable inventions, the “Smallie” mobile point-of-sale system, has significantly decreased the need for cash transactions, especially in the transportation industry.

According to PayZeep, contactless “Tap and Pay” technology is integrated into all of its POS and mPOS systems, allowing for quicker and safer transactions without the need for cash handling or actual card swipes.

According to PayZeep, its suite of products—which includes financial apps, payment gateways, and point-of-sale systems—was created to help organizations, corporations, and governmental organizations speed up cashless transactions.

It is licensed as a Payment Solution Service Provider, which enables it to handle smooth online transactions, and as a Payment Terminal Service Provider, which permits it to set up and oversee POS machines all across the country.

PayZeep underlined its dedication to using technology to promote efficiency and financial inclusion as digital payments continue to transform Nigeria’s financial environment.

A rapidly expanding fintech firm, payZeep is committed to providing safe and easy financial technology to banks, government organizations, merchants, enterprises, and consumers. In line with our goal of being a top supplier of payment solutions, payZeep provides a full range of payment gateways, portals, and application solutions that are tailored to the changing demands of the industry.

With the unwavering goal of advancing finance, payZeep makes payments easier and more efficient for both customers and businesses. The business is leading the way in streamlining financial transactions by emphasizing efficiency, security, and ease.
