Samsung’s 2026 Micro RGB 4K TVs Start at $1,600, Top Out at 85 Inches

Samsung has rolled out its 2026 lineup of Micro RGB 4K TVs, introducing new models that start at 55 inches and run up to 85 inches, with pricing beginning at $1,600. The company is also promising a 100-inch version later in the year, extending the range for buyers who want a truly massive screen.

The sets use Samsung’s Micro RGB display technology, which relies on thousands of tiny red, green and blue LEDs to cut down on color bleed and deliver what the company describes as expanded colour with pinpoint accuracy. All current models support 4K resolution.

To drive the new panels, Samsung has built in a dedicated AI processor. According to the company, this chip is tuned specifically to calibrate the picture so the displays can take full advantage of the Micro RGB hardware, producing “stunningly sharp images with incredible detail.”

Beyond image tuning, the processor also handles motion smoothing and runs the TV’s smart features, including apps. These TVs support HDR10+ Advanced, an updated high dynamic range standard co-developed by Samsung. The company says this brings benefits like genre-based picture optimization and enhanced brightness.

The 2026 Micro RGB lineup is split into two series: the higher-end R95H and the more affordable R85H.

  • R95H series: Positioned as the premium option, the R95H line includes Samsung’s anti-glare technology and supports refresh rates up to 165Hz. Pricing starts at $3,200 for a 65-inch model and rises to $6,500 for an 85-inch version. Samsung says a 100-inch R95H model is planned for later this year.
  • R85H series: The step-down R85H line tops out at a 144Hz refresh rate. This is also where Samsung hits its most accessible price point in the range: the 55-inch R85H starts at $1,600, while the 85-inch R85H is priced at $4,000.

All models in both lines support Dolby Atmos audio and can connect with up to five Samsung sound devices using the company’s Q-Symphony technology, allowing the TV speakers and compatible soundbars or speakers to work together.

Like several of Samsung’s lifestyle-focused sets, the new Micro RGB TVs tie into the company’s Art Store. Originally launched alongside The Frame TV, the service lets subscribers choose from thousands of artworks to display on the screen when it’s not being used for video or gaming.

The 2026 Micro RGB TVs are available now directly from Samsung and through retailers including Best Buy.

Samsung has also shown it is willing to push Micro RGB to larger formats. The company recently built a 130-inch Micro RGB display and brought it to CES 2026, though that enormous screen was presented as a concept rather than a product you can currently buy.
