Samsung Electronics West Africa, collaborating with authorized local partners, has bolstered its market penetration across Nigeria by launching three additional consumer-focused stores in Abuja. This strategy aims to broaden the availability of Samsung’s cutting-edge consumer electronics and home appliances to a wider Nigerian consumer base.

Known as Samsung Experience Stores, these retail facilities create a dynamic platform for consumers to engage with Samsung’s comprehensive selection of audio-visual solutions and a vast array of luxury household appliances – all under a single roof. These stores further deepen the avenues through which customers can directly experience Samsung’s diverse product ecosystem, in addition to procuring personalized service from qualified sales consultants.

The debut of these retail outlets in the city of Abuja follows an existing trend of establishing experience stores throughout Nigeria. With these new additions, the total count of such retail outlets across the nation now stands at 75, including 12 centres within Abuja.

Breaking grounds in Abuja underscores Samsung’s intentional effort to make connected lifestyle products and solutions more accessible, highlighting the brand’s dedication to fostering the most consumer-centric engagement within a retail setting, as stated by the firm’s Managing Director, Mr. Brovo Kim.

Mr. Kim discussed Samsung’s vision to improve lives through its products. He expressed his gratitude for the support received from the Nigerian market, which he considers highly potential. He further asserted Samsung’s unwavering commitment to deliver outstanding products and services to Nigerian consumers, expressing optimism in the country’s economic outlook and the potential growth in consumer sentiment. As part of this expansion drive, Samsung is set on augmenting their retail footprint across the country through the establishment of additional retail hubs nationwide, to enhance the shopping convenience for consumers.

The newly opened stores present Samsung’s latest and most innovative products, including curved and ultra-high-definition televisions; a new line of refrigerators featuring Space Max technology for optimized internal capacity; a new series of Smart digital inverter air conditioners boasting a unique triangle body design; and a fresh line-up of luxe appliances aimed at home chefs, among others. In accordance with Samsung’s commitment to outstanding customer service, any service requirements will be expertly handled in-store by the company’s well-trained technical representatives.

Samsung’s expansion in Nigeria is a testament to the strength of the brand and the loyalty of its customers in the region, noted the company’s Director of Consumer Electronics, Mr. Sunil Kumar.

He beckons Nigerians to visit Samsung’s brand stores to witness first-hand how the brand redefines simplicity and elegance in design along with an enhanced user experience. He also emphasized Samsung’s commitment to maintaining its leadership position in the market by growing its retail footprint as well as providing unrivaled levels of service and education on all their products.

Mrs. Oluwaremilekun Ogunsan, Samsung’s Consumer Electronics Brand Shop Manager, stated that the revamped Samsung Experience Store was developed predominantly for Nigerians to interact with products in Samsung’s premium portfolio. She emphasized that the stores sought to transform traditional retail shopping into an interactive, upbeat experience while allowing consumers to discover the potential of Samsung products.

Samsung Electronics Co. Limited is a global technology giant, continuously innovating and making novel possibilities available worldwide. The company has transformed the global landscape of televisions, home appliances, LTE systems, smartphones, personal computers, printers, cameras, semiconductors, and LED solutions. With over 236,000 employees spread across 79 countries, the company boasts annual sales of US$187.8 billion.
