Samsung’s latest Galaxy Book 6 laptops are coming to the US on March 11, with reservations already open through Samsung’s website and its experience stores. The line-up, first unveiled at CES earlier this year, spans three models – the Galaxy Book 6, Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra.
All three machines ship in grey and are built around Intel’s new Core Ultra Series 3 processors, which were also announced at CES and are pitched as delivering stronger graphics performance and improved battery life.
The entry-level Galaxy Book 6 starts at $1,050. Stepping up, the Galaxy Book 6 Pro begins at $1,600, while the top-end Galaxy Book 6 Ultra starts at $2,450.
Across the range, Samsung is leaning into AI-assisted features. The laptops include capabilities such as AI Select and AI Search, which let users look up information using natural language queries.
The Galaxy Book 6 Pro will be offered in 14-inch and 16-inch versions. Configurations go up to Intel Core Ultra X7 processors paired with Intel Arc graphics. The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is available in a 16-inch size and can be configured with up to Intel Core Ultra X9 processors. According to Samsung, the Ultra model aims for significant performance gains, combining a new 5th-generation MPU, Intel Arc graphics and NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs.
Samsung has also refined the physical design of its higher-end models. Both the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and the 16-inch Galaxy Book 6 Pro are slimmer than their predecessors. The Ultra keeps a more traditional clamshell laptop look, while the 16-inch Pro’s profile is closer to the ultrathin style popularized by devices like the MacBook Air.
To handle heat under heavier loads, Samsung has redesigned the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra’s internal layout, spreading components across a larger surface area to help distribute heat more evenly.
Battery life is another focus. Samsung says the Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra can reach up to 30 hours of video playback, using what the company describes as its longest-lasting batteries so far in this series.
Both the Pro and Ultra models also feature AMOLED 2X displays with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 and refresh rates up to 120Hz, aimed at smoother visuals for work and entertainment.
