SolarWinds – the U.S. cybersecurity company that recorded one of the worst data breaches in American history has hired some familiar faces to help it mitigate the effect of the situation. The cybersecurity company was infiltrated by hackers using a launchpad, which kept their activities unnoticed. They recently hired a high profiled security consultant to assist the company in regaining its reputation.

Each version of the cybersecurity software is designed with a backdoor that enables the company’s network to easily manage its thousands of customers operating with its security software.

Without further ado to the attack, SolarWinds employed CrowdStrike Holdings Inc to investigate further the company cyber attack they experienced to realize the loopholes in-synch with the security company’s backdoor network – the passage to which the hackers used in gaining access to its database.

The hackers responsible for the SolarWinds attack did a great job as there are still yet to be discovered after a series of investigations. They went further to hire reputable security consultants on Thursday – Alex Stamos, Facebook Inc’s previous chief security officer, and Chris Krebs – the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s previous head, CISA.

Alex Stamos, an assisting professor at Stanford University. He also extended broader support to the 2020 November election educating the public to prevent fake news related to the election.

Stamos was also one of the team members engaged by the emerging videoconferencing company, Zoom Video Communications Inc, to strengthen the flaws reportedly stemmed from its video/voice call platform.

However, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is a unit within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Chris Krebs was the first individual to head the security unit.

Krebs also obliged a national duty to aid in securing the 2020 U.S. presidential election with the sole objective to dispel hackers from manipulating results.

Forthwith to the 2020 November election, Krebs got relieved of duty by the outgoing U.S. President, Donald Trump, because he was affirmative that there were zero possibilities that the election was rigged by the opponent or manipulated by hackers.

Lately, the outgoing U.S. President has iteratively misused the power bestowed on his office to assault anyone who is in support of him conceding to President-elect Joe Biden.  He also instigated the mob that stomped the U.S. Capitol after sharing a viral post he refused to take down that got him suspended from all his social media accounts.

Krebs revealed his agenda that uplifts his reputation as certified security personnel available to an open market to serve clients in tackling unauthorized data breaches.

Krebs said “There have been successful leaders that embrace cybersecurity but also the community and engagement, and they tend to not just survive in this environment, but thrive. We want to help executives become those leaders. There’s a process that we want to help organizations build.”

The Russian government suspected of having orchestrated the alleged cyber-attack on SolarWinds, which reported to have its tools tampered with by the hackers.

Several other government agencies were reported to have traces of SolarWind missing codes utilized by the hacker to manipulate other security systems.

The cybersecurity Chief Executive Sudhakar Ramakrishna said that he is anticipating working with his newly recruited consultants in his company’s blog. “We have brought in the expertise of Chris Krebs and Alex Stamos to assist in this review” and develop world-class security software.
