The Australian compamny first international acquisition which is seen by many industry analysts as a coup has the acquisition having an initial payment of £6m by TechnologyOne to Scientia, with further payments to follow.
TechnologyOne, the software as a service business service company claims to have about 75 percent of Australia’s Higher Educational Institutions making use of its software while newly acquired Scientia has a 50 percent market share claim in the United Kingdom.
An elated Adrian Di Marco, founder and Chief Executive of TechnologyOne while announcing the acquisition said:

The unique IP and market-leading functionality of Scientia’s product supports our vision of delivering enterprise software that is incredibly easy to use.”
Michelle Gillespie, Registrar and Director of Student Administration and Library Services at Swinburne University of Technology while commenting said:

TechnologyOne has its headquarters in Fortitude Valley in Brisbane, Australia, with other offices in United Kingdom (UK), New Zealand, South Pacific and Asia
