Remember my last post about Yahoo replacing Google as defaultt search in Firefox’s web browser, well it has haeppned and this update is currently for the North American market only for now.

The new Firefox 34 now uses Yahoo as default search but howthis will change Yahoo’s fortunes remians to be seen even as Google still controls about 90% of the North American  search market while it mainytains control of over 60% of the global market.

Mozilla has also disabled support on both platforms for the old SSL 3.0 standard to guard against web encryption exploits.
