Series Entertainment, a GenAI game development platform, has secured $28 million in funding from big-name investors like Netflix, Dell Technologies Capital, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), BITKRAFT, and F4 Fund. The GenAI gaming startup CEO, Pany Haritatos disclosed the outcome of the series A fundraising to continue revolutionizing the gaming industry with thriller content.

Haritatos revealed that the influx of cash comes hot on the heels of his company’s $7.9 million seed funding, previously led by a16z, as Series Entertainment had newly entered the gaming market. This connotes that Haritatos Game Studio as a brand is expected to accomplish more lucrative adventure by 2025 having been in the market for only a year but has reportedly achieved mind-blowing deals to wave its success flag.

The trick question is, “What’s Series Entertainment all about?”

Series is on a mission to revolutionize the gaming industry with its cutting-edge GenAI technology which pioneers the industry by brandishing its technology. The company’s Rho Engine uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to help game developers build immersive, interactive games at breakneck speeds.

Imagine NPCs that can haggle with gamers, or players having unlimited customization options – that’s the kind of innovation Series is bringing to the table. This explains why the Haritatos could secure a whopping $7.9 million equity capital to bank roll-paced gaming development in line with his studio debut in the market.

Haritatos’s Series Entertainment gaming studios have reportedly experienced paced growth for an infant startup company that could be rated next level to old-takers in the tech industry. Haritatos also led his startup gaming studio to parent PixelBerry, a mobile gaming studio.

The PixelBerry mobile gaming studio production birthed the fictional interactive fiction game ”Choices: Stories You Play”. While currently a subsidiary of Series Entertainment, Haritatos aimed at using PixelBerry’s resources to alter its GenAi technology to improve content interactions with users gaming its video.

This connotes that the helm of Series paradigm’s Haritatos game plan, a gaming industry veteran with a proven track record of success. Haritatos has decades of experience in game development, having sold his previous studios to Zynga and Kongregate.  His team has grown from 17 employees to over 100 in just a year, with talent from top companies like Zynga, Machine Zone, Google, and Snap.

With this fresh funding, Series is poised to take its game development platform to the next level. The company’s valuation now stands at $190 million, according to Pitchbook estimates. As Series continues to push the boundaries of GenAI in gaming, we can expect even more exciting developments from this innovative startup.
