We start with what may prove to eventually be bad news for Google in Europe. The European parliament wants the search giant to break up in its new antitrust probe. Read more on that story here

We also reported that the UK government is set to employ IP matching in its fight against terror. The bill is being prepared by the Home office in response to recent domestic terrorism threats to the UK Homeland.  Read more here

From  the African continent, we have a series of news for you but let’s start with the news of Nigeria and South African now controlling over 60% of the total data centre space in Africa. The reported cited a growth in data centre activities on the continent. There are over 50 countries in Africa with a combined population of about 1 billion. We reported the turmoil in the Kenyan telecom industry with Viettel withdrawing their bid in protest. Read more here
