TikTok revealed a number of new features in the early hours of Wednesday, such as improved parental controls, more tools for producers, and a brand-new interactive well-being feature. Though the numerous new features are still yet to go public, however at present they are still being tested in the testing phase.
TikTok also rolled out Family Pairing, a function on the social network that lets parents link their accounts with their children or wards within the teenage group’s accounts to personalize safety settings, and is getting new parental controls. Now, parents have the full right and ability to restrict particular accounts on their teen’s account. Teens cannot engage with blocked accounts, and their feed will not display the content from blocked accounts.
Additionally, anytime a teen uploads a public video, narrative, or photo, parents will now receive an immediate notification. According to TikTok, this will allow parents to monitor their teen’s posts without interfering with their creativity.
The privacy settings that a teen chooses are now more visible to parents. They can check, for instance, whether their teen (who is between the ages of 16 and 17) has allowed downloads for their content or whether their following list is public.
Additionally, TikTok is introducing “Creator Care Mode,” which automatically filters any comments deemed unpleasant, improper, or indecent. Additionally, it filters user comments that have been reported, rejected, or removed.
The feature, according to TikTok, employs AI to comprehend how the user is removing and banning content. Therefore, remarks of a given kind are less likely to show up in a creator’s comment section if they are frequently removed or reported.
Creators will be able to completely remove a term from their comments on TikTok Live thanks to a new comment feature included. Additionally, those who have already commented on the phrase or will do so in the future will be muted for the length selected by the developer.
TikTok is introducing the “Creator Inbox,” a new professional inbox experience that includes “Unread” and “Starred” folders, to assist creators in better managing messages. In addition to creating short replies that can be shared with a single tap, creators can also configure personalized answers to frequently requested queries.

Creators that have 10,000 followers or more, are at least eighteen years old, and have either a Live Fan Club or a Subscription Fan Club are eligible to participate in Creator Chat Rooms. The maximum number of users in a conversation is 300, and authors are permitted to have a minimum of 20 distinct chats.
A new function called “Content Check Lite,” which lets users see if their work qualifies to show up in the For You stream, will also be available to creators. Users can then make any necessary adjustments prior to posting.
Before content is posted on the site, TikTok is testing a more comprehensive Content Check feature that will let creators verify that their work complies with the community guidelines.
