As Twitter’s Direct Messages (DMs) increasingly become a go-to tool for immediate communication, the tech titan is consistently improving its features.

Notably, Twitter recently released news that will be welcomed by users of its iOS and Android apps. They announced via a tweet:

The full accessibility of your entire DM history is a useful feature for tracing back past conversations without the need to open the Twitter website on your desktop.

Further, Twitter shared that they will be rolling out updates to simplify the process of DM deletion across their web and mobile platforms. The tweet contained a helpful link to a support page that shows users how to delete and post DMs. The page underscores Twitter’s ongoing commitment to refining the ‘back-end elements’ of their messaging subsystem.

In a digital era where new messaging apps are introduced frequently, Twitter distinguishes itself with its built-in messaging feature and considerable user base. Through recent updates like this, Twitter is tactically enhancing its DM feature to rival the newest chat applications on the market.
