Twitter’s Voice Tweet Now Captions Your Tweets.

...it took the bird app a year to tweak its video

You can now add captions with Twitter’s voice tweets, this feature rolls out today whereby it is almost twelve months since the bird app launched voice tweet. At the time when it was newly released, several critic comments went viral advocating for captions which are finally here.

At the moment, it is worth noting that voice tweets are still exclusive for iOS, and adding your preferred captions is automated with enlisted language, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, French, Arabic, etc.

For contrast, captions for voice tweet uses the default language applied to the settings of your device. So if your device is configured to be related to English, voice tweet will not relate if you speak other languages not included in your default language — Techbooky suggests you select several other languages enlisted above to access Captions functions.

According to the bird app head of global accessibility Gurpreet Kaur’s statement, captions is only accessible for new voice tweet. This concept of using captions with Spaces is built with simplicity whereby there is a “CC” button at the top right corner of your voice tweet.

“As part of our ongoing work to make Twitter accessible for everyone, we’re rolling out automated captions for Voice Tweets to iOS,” Kaur confirmed voice tweets now captions your tweet. “Though it’s still early and we know it won’t be perfect at first, it’s one of many steps we’re taking to expand and strengthen accessibility across our service, and we look forward to continuing our journey to create a truly inclusive service.”

Note that Twitter did not assign developers centered on tweaking the accessibility of voice tweets at the time it was newly released. Now the bird app has a dedicated team for developing Twitter’s voice tweets. Prior to assigning a team in the previous September, Twitter employees had to volunteer to work extra hours aiming to develop this feature as soon as possible.

Remember, Twitter terminated its Fleets experience and reportedly replaced it with Spaces — this feature is yet to be fully available. The bird app retired Fleets because it lags in attracting more users — Twitter appears to be boring while this feature is absent. At the moment you should worry less about boredom, for Twitter introduces voice tweets with captions.
