WhatsApp To Soon Have Verified Accounts For Businesses Just Like Facebook And Twitter

WhatsApp is getting an update soon; in which verified accounts for business will be introduced just like what’s obtainable on Facebook.

WhatsApp in a blog post gave a detailed explanation to how the new feature which will be rolling out soon, and in it states the process involved to get your account verified to run your business.

The blogpost reads, “WhatsApp is exploring ways for you to communicate with the businesses that matter to you. Some business accounts have been verified by WhatsApp. If you see a green badge next to a contact’s name, it means that WhatsApp has confirmed that the phone number of this contact belongs to a business account.” WhatsApp also added that the verification process is limited to a small number of enterprises and for individual to experience the new change they have to update their WhatsApp application on their Play Store or App store.

The blog post went further to explain how users will know if their account has been verified as a business accounts, the company said it will allow users know more about this in the new update in which they will have a yellow chat session close to their contacts and these allows the users to talk about their business in the chat options added.

Also, making it easy to keep track of other business in the chat; the company added that these feature will allow the users see saved contact on their business chats and also for unsaved contacts, they will see the business name the person has chosen and if the users don’t want to contact with these business, the company added a block or delete option In the business chat settings.

This new feature added soon, will give users the options to interact theirs banks, hospitals, airlines and a list of other enterprises.

It makes sense to be able to connect to businesses out there right from the comfort of your WhatsApp Application.
